Here we present to you son number 3. We are very happy to welcome Thomas into our lives. Ryan in particular is enjoying the fact that he has a new brother on the scene. He sings to Thomas and reads him books. The first day we brought Thomas home, Ryan wanted him to sleep in his bed!

Ryan has been very good with helping during the preganacy and with Christopher. We've asked him to get a tissue to wipe Christopher's nose and he does it, and also put his sandles on. Christopher on the other hand just points and Thomas and says "baby!". He has been singing with Ryan but he's very wingy. Not sure if it was brought on by having a new family member.

As you can see on the left, our family portraits will never be serious!

Sean is just overwelmed with the new addition.

Click here if you want to read about the birth. It goes into some detail, you've been warned!

Here we welcome Gabriel Ruben Machain to the family also, born Friday 8.55am 4th April 2008.
Weight : 2.7Kg
Length : 47cm

Also wanted to add my good friend Debbie had a baby girl,

Zoe Janice Richardson born 12.35pm on 2nd April 2008.

Thursday 20 March, the boys went to Burwood Park where the play group had a animal farm, special treat for the kids as it was Good Friday the next day (supposed to be my due date with Thomas!). Christopher just loved touching the animals, Ryan wasn't too keen, he just mucked around at the park with his cousin Liam.

At the moment, costumes are the big thing in our household. Christopher is just obsessed with his Captain feathersword outfit, while Ryan has his Ninja turtle costume. We didn't think that Christopher would love the Wiggles more than Ryan. He just goes nuts when I get the outfit out. When it's dirty and put it in the wash, then hang out to dry, he'll get a towel from the bathroom and tell me to dry it with the towel! He has slept in it and gone to daycare with it. It's cute but it gets abit out of hand when it's the first thing he asks for when he gets up in the morning, and the last thing before bed.

Quick Recap of 2007

Ryan's 4th birthday August 2007- we spent Ryan's birthday at the Zoo. Both the boys had a wonderful time. Then that night we had cake with the family. He got lots of presents which he just loved, especially all the Lightening McQueen's (he got about 10 of them, but he plays with them all!)

Sean's 32nd birthday November 2007 - We went to Bi-centenial park. It was a very hot day, but the kids loved it.

Christopher's 2nd birthday December 2007- We spend his birthday at the Aquarium. When the boys are together at something like this, they go crazy with excitement. -Short story- We got to the crocodile tank at the aquarium. It all looked pretty good and there were lots of people watching, we thought, what a big crowd. The crocodile was being fed; a dead rabbit. Ryan asked me "Mummy, what's he got in his mouth?". It looked like the rabbits head had been ripped but it was still dangling on the skin (It still had fur and all). I said to him "He's just playing with his fluffy toy". Thank goodness he bought it, cause we all walked away happy!

Christmas 2007 - We all enjoyed the day at Nonna's for breakfast, then lunch at Nanny and Poppy's. Ryan got the Lightening McQueen that you program and does stunts, and Christopher got his talking Elmo. These toys have already had their day, they are stored at the bottom on the toy basket now. Oh well...
